When we talk about health, we often focus on diseases and treatments. But at Supreme Care Health Foundation, we understand that true health encompasses physical, mental, and economic wellbeing.

The Program

Our first cohort of 20 young people completed an intensive tailoring and fashion design training program. Participants ranged in age from 17 to 28, including young men and women from various communities in Plateau State. The curriculum covered:

  • Basic and advanced sewing techniques
  • Pattern making and garment construction
  • Fashion design principles
  • Business and entrepreneurship basics
  • Marketing and customer service

The Impact

The results have been remarkable. Several graduates have already opened their own shops or home-based businesses. Others have secured employment with established tailoring outlets. The program has also fostered a strong sense of community and mutual support among participants.

Beyond Tailoring

The success of our tailoring program has inspired us to expand into other vocational areas including catering, hairdressing, digital literacy, and agricultural entrepreneurship.

A Holistic Approach to Health

Economic empowerment is not separate from our health mission — it is central to it. When young people have income and purpose, they are better able to afford healthcare, maintain healthy lifestyles, and contribute positively to their communities.
